At Youth Can Do IT, we believe that everyone deserves equal opportunity to access knowledge and skills in the latest technologies. Our Amplify initiative is a free program designed to give young students the opportunity to learn how to design and use emerging digital environments. One of our main focuses is the metaverse, a complex and immersive platform that is shaping the future of technology. We believe that young people should be equipped with the knowledge to use the metaverse responsibly and ethically.visitors.

Youth Can Do I.T. (YCDI) is a youth empowerment organization founded in 2016 by Lianne McNaughton and based in Kingston, Jamaica. The mission of YCDI is to empower youth through skill-building, self actualizing programmes that prepare them for the jobs of the future.

You could attend with absolutely zero prior knowledge of web development, and leave having successfully made your first website. The workshops at YCDI has been truly inspiring. Through this initiative I have been briefed on the development of websites and coding, which has captivated my interest. I now try to code on my own as a hobby and try to learn new skills in coding.
